WHAT DID FRIEDA DO BEFORE GETTING INTO SLUMDOG?

Freida?s got it all. The fame, the men ( I think) and the fortune (I hope!). None of us knew this girl-next-door even existed before Slumdog Millionaire, but she?s now an international household name.

"She just made it easy," some say. But just because we never saw her in B-grade Bollywood flicks, doesn?t mean she became an overnight success. She had her share of small crappy assignments before being made into an exotic Indian beauty for the world to stare at by Danny Boyle. Believe me not?

See this picture? Yup it?s your very own Freida. Young, not made it and modelling for a spa! You have definitely seen this picture before but don?t quite seem to remember right now. She didn?t catch your eye. You didn?t think she was the most beautiful woman you must have ever seen and did you worship the ground she walks on? Hell no.



In fact modelling for spa?s isn?t all she did. She was a Wrigley?s girl, and even wore the d?s for a De Beers ad and even posed for Skoda. Her fame wasn?t immediate, unlike what we think. Even right before Slumdog Millionaire, Freida danced around in a music video for Dal Hothi in I promise you. A silly song, with an even sillier video with a singer who I have never heard off before. Freida actually looks gorgeous but that's probably only because she?s in the dark in most of the video.



But back to the previous point...why did you notice her now? Would she be what she is if she was cast in a Bollywood movie? Slumdog Millionaire did get her where she is, a movie not made by Indians. So how many other potential beauties do we have lost in the backdrop? Think about it.
